2022 Activities
There was a great turn out for the final Garden Group meeting for 2022 at Gordale Garden Centre. Heswall Honeys and Neston Belles were treated to an entertaining and informative talk by the staff who had put together a fantastic display of winter plants. Many thanks to Sandra for organing the event.
A group of ladies from the Garden Group visited Abbeywood Gardens, a 45 Acre Estate nestling in the Delamere countryside, home to the Rowlinson Family since 1987.
It has 6 Acres of informal and formal gardens, all different and distinctive. There is a 2km wildlife walk, incorporating 27 acres of mature and newly planted woodland, with a young 7-acre arboretum with rare deciduous and evergreen tree species.

The sun shone brightly for the Garden Group’s fund raiser for Wirral Hospice St John. ‘Care for a Cuppa’ was an enjoyable event with ‘lashings of tea and cake’!! A big thanks goes to the group’s committee for their hard work and baking skills in organising the afternoon.
