MURDER MYSTERY MONTHLY MEETING!
A TOUR AND TALK ON INSPIRATIONAL LIVERPOOL WOMEN
A VISIT TO THE PICTON LIBRARY - SO POPULAR THERE WERE TWO TOURS
The visit to Liverpool’s Central Library proved so popular two tours had to be arranged. The groups where able to see the famous collection of rare books housed in the magnificent Hornby Library and Oak room as well as view the impressive Picton Reading Room. They explored the modern architecture of the building and how technology used in libraries today. Visiting the archive rooms the group took a look at posters and maps of old Liverpool then went on to the top of the building to take in the city skyline. Once again, thank you to Alison and Pat for putting the tour together.
