The Art Group meet on:

The 1st Monday of each month, from 2.00pm-4.30pm at a member's home
The 3rd Thursday of the month, from 10.30am-1.30pm at Newton Village Hall.

We also have trips out or an activity where we invite someone to come along and demonstrate a particular skill which we then 'have a go at'. First Mondays have involve collage, water colour techniques, felting, pottery, mosaic making, aboriginal art or just sketching or acrylic painting. Our aim is to try as many new techniques as we can find. We visit galleries and art exhibitions and have had guided tours of areas that are particularly interesting such as the Ropewalks area of Liverpool or of the Sculpture on Liverpool University campus.

The success of the Art Group means we have now reached our maximum number of 12. If you would like to start a new art group, please let us know so that we can help and support you!
